A simple birthday celebration was held at Mama's hometown, coz grandma and siao yi yi wanted to organise a mini party for me.
Before the party start, 3 of us were having some fun with the ballons.
The birthday song, the blowing of candles, and the cutting cake.....incidating the party has started......
Seems there is a traditional test for a baby when they reach the milestone of one year old. Simply for fun, they let me have 3 choices only (err...actually should have more other choices like abacus). Hmmm...not sure what is all these about, but i have taken the pen as my 1st choice.

11months, 3 weeks...count down to 1 year old.....
Last week, we both failed to let Jolene soaked into pool water. Not giving up, we tried yesterday. After her morning nap, about 10.30am (worry afternoon rain), we brought her to the pool again.
Jolene : "Mama, wait for me.... "
Jolene : "We're ready. The swimming tube is my birthday present from Papa".First thought, we wanted to let her play in the children pool. Testing..testing..the water is really cold. So, we let her do some warm up. Unfortunately, when about the soak her into water, she was shivering again like last week!! :-(
Then, we decided to let the sun bath her first. So, we proceed to the adult pool where got the sunlight at the time. I'm almost wanted to give up the idea of bringing her to the pool, but thanks to her Papa persistent. He tried to help her body adjust to the pool water temperature by splashing some water onto her body, gradually.....yeah...Jolene finally
MAKE IT!
Jolene : "It really cold eventhough i'm under hot sun!"In fact, we were worried that Jolene might scared of water, might cry or any worst scenario might happened. But that was unecessary as she was not afraid of the water at all, instead, she just love it. Much to our relief, generally, we had a wonderful time. We were so looking forward for the next session, but we just can't wait till the next morning ;-P .....yes, we had our 2nd round in the evening.
Jolene: "wonder how i enjoy in the pool?...the video clip is coming out soon". Stay tuned. Oh yes, Kei Ma, Kei Pa....am i doing just right?...."

I got a Nemo from fr my babysitter, Jessy mama, during her recent holiday trip. When i got this present from her, my Mama forced me to do a performance by wearing it! ;-)

Peek-A-Boo seems is a baby game. It's the learning process for all babies, i guess.
In the game, my parents will hide their faces, pops back into the my view, and says — ar jiak (Peekaboo)! Now, i can do the reverse.

Mama has been looking for a swimsuit for me quite sometime. It is either too expensive or can't find the size of me. When they almost give up to search for it, they got it for me in Tesco last Saturday ;-) .......
See, the swimsuit looks perfect on me??? In fact, both top n bottom piece still big for me. Hehehe... thanks to my Mama, who still got a bit of sewing skills, making it perfect for me.

Yesterday, about 3pm after my afternoon nap and nien nien, we decided to go to the pool. It was my first experience touching the pool water. Rainy weather...strong wind....cold water....and they just let me soaked in the water. Gosh...i was shivering! Minutes later, they decided to let me out from the pool....:-(
We shall go again coming week. Perhaps with the good weather and a camera along. :-)
