After 11 months+, finally you can see the coconut tree is up. Heeeee...seems every baby girl sure will have this hair style when time comes. Jolene has a nice coconut tree as her hair is super curly....

The side view of her pigtails....that's the advantage of curly hair! ;-)

Learn learn learn again....i'm learning hard.

Circle, triangle, square and star … it’s fun to discover what shapes there are! Yeap...is a shape-sorting game. Well, the fun of this game is not solely on shape-sorting, but every success of the matching, Papa is praising me! ah--haa...., at the same time, i am doing self rewarding. That's fun right!

When Jolene was about 3 months old, we already know she is not the soft type. And, now we are even more sure on this. She is like me, the noisy one ~ "loud speaker".

A chinese new year without a lion dance show is like incomplete. Fortunately, the Management of our apartment had organised a lion dance show last sunday to bring lucks and proprerous to the residents there. This will be the first year as well for us to witness the show in our own apartment. Jolene was scared for the whole events, however, she did stayed till the end of the show.

Time flies, new year will be over soon. During the new year, I got a chance to visit both grandparents' home. Mama said traditionally 初一 (chor yat), if possible, to wear RED, so, that's including myself. This little red dress is the souvenir from Bali, special thanks to Jo che che! Muacccksssss!!! If not, i don't have red dress for new year lor!!

Yeah...getting ready to collect ang pao.....

Besides collecting ang pao, i also found some new "old" toy for me to play in my both grandparents home.

Yeah, this the old fashion type of bounce "wooden horse". Papa said this toy already more than 30 years loh. Mama's hometown got more new fashion toy.....here got the modern tricycle....

Vroom...Vroom...i'm riding a bike! Real COOL!!

Aa-haa...don't open turn your mouth to "O"....i can play and i know how to play!!

My first Ang Pao! Yahooooo!!!

Ox year, 2009 ....this is the first year Jolene celebrating Chinese New Year. 10 months 2 weeks, at this age, she don't know anything about the celebration yet. However, we do noticed that she has gained some achievement after the new year. What say so? A few things she has learned the past week.

1. She knows how to clap her hand
2. She knows how to put the handphone near her ear
3. She knows how to put things inside a container (before that, she just know how to throw thing out from container)
4. She knows how to say nien nien

Last but not least, she fell down a couple of times in a day during the new year...don't know why..may be this is the learning stage or "bad month" for her?? poor her :-)!!!
