Of course, what she sang was different meaning from the lyrics! And, she can't sing for a complete song yet! Who cares anyway, most important, see how she indulge herself in performing a song. Bravo!

Scribbling is one her activities lately. When she is in good mood, she can be on her own to scribble, like this video clips. Otherwise, she will demand us to draw for her!
She knew i was capturing a video of her... she purposely scribble it playfully! The highlights here is that, at this age, we were amazed at how good she is to hold a pencil, like holding a brush to write chinese caligraphy!

What is the development stage now for Jolene, at 1 year 4 months old? Err..lately she love to jump, sing, hum and dance (immediate level).

Usually before sleep, Jolene will spend sometime playing and story telling to us (of course, most of the time, we don't know what is she talking about).
And, lately we are having hard time to capture picture / video of her...coz whenever she see me holding the camera, she will stop doing anything or walk away.

Jolene is at the stage where learning every single thing she see from the adults. This can be headache for us sometimes, however, it is also fun for us to discover that she can really do lots of thing now.

What sign can Jolene do now?
She can wave goodbye, she can do french kiss, she knows how to clap hands, she can show you the hand sign when bird come, she knows how to dance, hmmm..what else? Ah..haaa...the best think i know ever is to beat people. She can do this action with the clear talking of beat (打). 打打打!!
What words can Jolene say now?
She talks tamil...:-)...the languange that we can't understand! She knows how to say 打(her most clear word and favourite), 你推 (you push), mum mum (food), 要 (want). Those words are clearly said. So, where is the word of pa..pa..ma ..ma..????? Sign! She just refuse to say. Whenever we teached her these words, she keeps quiet.
Ok, let see how she says the word 要and do a french kiss!

1 Year 2 weeks old
What's after the celebration of 1 year old? She is now a toddler and yes, still very active.
Now, we decided to stop her habits of sucking pacifier. We have tried to do this for the last 3 days...and we make it! And Jolene, Bravo....you acheived it! But, without the pacifier, i have to feed her milk once in the wee hours (as i had stopped feeding her for almost 2 months ago).
Another milestones for Jolene is that...she can now walk 2 - 3 steps alone! And, this happened just last night. She was so excited to try the walking on the bed till refused to sleep! sigh!

Birthday celebration always comes with birthday cake and gift. A gift must not valued by $$, but the heart from the giver.
In this month of March, Jolene already had too much of a good things. Birthday celebration's story will continued till the 14 of March.
Jolene有话說 : I'm very pround to receive this birthday cake, coz this is not the cake which purchased from bakery shop, BUT, a cake which made with full of loves and care from my babysitter, Jessy & Casey Mama. ....yum yum..... Oh ya, an anklets from Jessy Mama...a gift showing i'm big girl already.

11months, 3 weeks...count down to 1 year old.....
Last week, we both failed to let Jolene soaked into pool water. Not giving up, we tried yesterday. After her morning nap, about 10.30am (worry afternoon rain), we brought her to the pool again.
Jolene : "Mama, wait for me.... "
Jolene : "We're ready. The swimming tube is my birthday present from Papa".First thought, we wanted to let her play in the children pool. Testing..testing..the water is really cold. So, we let her do some warm up. Unfortunately, when about the soak her into water, she was shivering again like last week!! :-(
Then, we decided to let the sun bath her first. So, we proceed to the adult pool where got the sunlight at the time. I'm almost wanted to give up the idea of bringing her to the pool, but thanks to her Papa persistent. He tried to help her body adjust to the pool water temperature by splashing some water onto her body, gradually.....yeah...Jolene finally
MAKE IT!
Jolene : "It really cold eventhough i'm under hot sun!"In fact, we were worried that Jolene might scared of water, might cry or any worst scenario might happened. But that was unecessary as she was not afraid of the water at all, instead, she just love it. Much to our relief, generally, we had a wonderful time. We were so looking forward for the next session, but we just can't wait till the next morning ;-P .....yes, we had our 2nd round in the evening.
Jolene: "wonder how i enjoy in the pool?...the video clip is coming out soon". Stay tuned. Oh yes, Kei Ma, Kei Pa....am i doing just right?...."
